On May 12, 2021, Firelands High School held its first annual Military Commitment Ceremony in the gymnasium. It was our honor to be able to recognize FHS students that have made the decision to serve our country. Each student that enlisted in the United States Armed Forces was able to invite guests to this private event.

Six of our seniors have chosen to serve in the Army National Guard, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines or the U.S. Air Force. Please help us congratulate, and thank, the following Falcons on their decision:

Anne Bartish: Army National Guard

Logan Galloway: Army National Guard

Hope Craig: U.S. Army

Grace Francis: U.S. Army

Dustin Hall: U.S. Marines

Alex Smith: U.S. Air Force
FHS Assistant Principal Mr. Robert Clarico (organizer of the event) stated, “It was my honor to celebrate these six seniors and their commitment to serve our country. They will be great representatives of the entire Firelands community. I was especially moved by the remarks from their recruiters that gave a personal touch to the overall ceremony.”
We thank these seniors and wish them them best as they begin their new careers!
