FHS/LCCC Partnership update May 2017

Students who attend Firelands High School and Lorain County Community College are working hard to expand their education at little to no out-of-pocket cost.  They have the opportunity though College Credit Plus (CCP) to earn up to 58 semester hours of free college without leaving the FHS campus!

Firelands School District has had a longstanding partnership with Lorain County Community College designed to expand opportunities for our students. This school year – already—162 Firelands High students have earned  2811 college credits saving families $445,094 in LCCC college costs. This equates to more than $1.1 million at an Ohio 4 year public university!

Congratulations to all of the students who are working hard and taking CCP classes! To learn more about the CCP program through Firelands High School, please click here.
