Alumni Update – April 2017

Cody Northeim – Class of 2012

As a Lorain County Sheriff’s Deputy, Cody Northeim’s work week can have a wide range of duties. Lorain County spans over 400 miles and the Deputies provide law enforcement for over 63,000 people. As any law enforcement officer, Northeim is dedicated to protecting the people that he serves.

Northeim had an unusual day last month as he was part of the safety detail for actor Matthew McConaughey. McConaughey was filming  at The Grafton Correctional Institution for the film White Boy Rick. While this was a change of pace for the dedicated Deputy, he reported it as “any day of service is a good day”!

In addition, Northeim is on the Riot Ream (Mobil Field Force) and currently is working on becoming an ATV instructor to train fellow deputies for normal patrol operations as well as rescue operations.
