On Friday, April 14th, Firelands Local Schools will be changing the password requirements of student accounts at the High School and Middle School.
Where student passwords for district computer logins, Google Apps, and PowerSchool were standardized before, due to issues passwords will be now be required to be changed and maintained by the students going forward.
The change being made on Friday, April 14th is modifying all student accounts in the High School and Middle School so that the next time the students login it will require the students to change their passwords.
- Usernames and passwords will not be changed, the parameter that forces the students to change their passwords will be set
- For computer and PowerSchool student logins, it may require students to login in initially on a district computer (i.e. computer lab system) to change the passwords
Accounts Affected by the Change:
- Google Apps for Education
- District Computer Logins
- Student PowerSchool Accounts (and parents who use them)
