FHS senior Matthew Brightbill takes the stage in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Near West Theatre in the Detroit Shoreway district of Cleveland. Staring as “Naptholi” Matthew plays one of Joseph’s 11 brothers in this musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber that is still one of the top 5 musicals performed in the world. Rehearsing this “turbo driven rock show” since September, Matthew has developed his dancing and acting as well as his voice in a diverse volunteer cast.
Matthew is a member of our FHS Select Choir and is currently auditioning for various in-state and out-of-state schools of music to major in musical theater. (His top choice would be the University of Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.) He appeared in a Near West Theatre Production of Assassins this past summer and at the MAD Factory production of Les Mis’ last spring.
Be entertained by Matthew in this Cleveland production of Joseph’ which runs from Nov. 18 – Dec. 11 on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 and Sundays at 3pm.
