Addiction – “Let’s Get Real”

The CDC says heroin and painkillers took 2,774 lives in Ohio last year. This makes Ohio rated #2 Drug Overdose Death State in the Nation.

Let’s Get Reals mission is “to provide information, education, and resource assistance to families and loved ones in their journey from addiction to recovery.”  This non profit community based referral agency specializes in addition to recover support for all involved.

You are invited to an informational program that will be held March 30th at 10:00 am in Oberlin. Please see the attached flyer for additional information.

Oberlin Heritage Center Spring Break Camps

This year OHC has two mini-camps to offer during Spring Break:  Feel the Oberlin Rhythm (March 29-30) features one of Oberlin’s most well-known trademarks, MUSIC!  Spark an Idea!  Power & Energy in Ohio (March 31-April 1) explores human ingenuity and how we create power to accomplish various tasks.   *Discounts may apply if early registration occurs.

Grandma’s Attic Sale

Mark your calendars for the Second Annual Grandma’s Attic Sale is April 22 & 23 at the Brownhelm School. All proceeds from the sale go to fund the restoration of the school.

If you are cleaning out your attic, basement, house or garage we are accepting donations each week on Tuesdays from 10am to 4pm at the Brownhelm School on North Ridge Rd.

Saturday March 12 the school will be open to accept donations from 10am to 12pm at the school. If these dates are inconvenient, please call Marcia DePalma at 440.315.7910 or Marilyn Brill at 440.988.4550 to make arrangements. NOTE: We are not accepting clothes, stuffed toys or electronics.

The Firelands Choir Boosters will be hosting their annual Prince and Princess breakfast on March 19th at SAMS. The breakfast will be from 9:00 – 11:00 am and is $ 8.00 per person.

Please come dressed up in your favorite Prince or Princess clothes!

You will enjoy:

  • Dancing and singing by the FHS Select Choir members
  • Create an autograph book to have all the Princes and Princesses sign
