Listed below are the bios from our students that are in the cast of Les Mis:

Matthew Brightbill (Marius) is a 17 year old junior at Firelands High School. He enjoys running cross country and track, working at Taco Bell, and playing piano. Some of his favorite roles include Scarecrow in “Wizard of Oz”, Mr. Laurence in “Little Women”, and Oliver Warbucks in “Annie” This is his fourth MAD* Factory show and he is thrilled and so thankful to Nina, Amber, and Linda for giving him the opportunity to play his dream role. He would also like to thank his parents, brother, friends, family, and classmates for being amazing and supportive. Finally, he hopes you have as much fun watching the show as he had being a part of it.

Macey Butchko (ENJOLRAS)  is a 15 year old girl who goes to Fireland’s High School.  Macey has loved singing and acting for as long as she can remember!  Music is one of the many hobbies she has. She loves reading, studying the stars, playing sports, spending time with her animals, and being involved with her school and community!   She has always wanted to pursue music as a career and hopes to travel the world doing what she loves.

Loren Myers (CHORUS I) is a junior at Fireland’s High School. She enjoys singing and acting (of course), as well as being outdoors and creating art. Occasionally sassy with a sassy side of sarcasm, Loren enjoys having fun with others. She’d like to say thanks to all parties involved with this show. Bless

Victoria Krejci is a seventeen year old senior at Firelands High School.  Les Miserables is her fourth musical, but her third musical with The MAD* Factory.  In this production, she plays a factory worker, a prostitute, and a lady soldier in Chorus One.  When she’s not performing, Victoria enjoys everything visual arts.  She couldn’t be happier with her amazing cast and hopes that you enjoy the show.

William Krejci is an 8th grade student who attends SAMS.  He enjoys singing and playing drums.  This is Williams 1st musical with MAD*.  William is playing Combeferre, a farmer, and a sailor, and he is a part of Chorus 1.

Nina Fisher (co-director) is finishing up her 8th year as the Program Director for The MAD* Factory and is very proud to be working on such a moving production with so many talented and committed teens.  Originally from Philadelphia, Nina graduated from Oberlin Conservatory with a Bachelor of Music in 2008 and has enjoyed living in the Cleveland area ever since!  Aside from working full time at The MAD* Factory, she is an accompanist for Firelands High School choirs, teaches private piano lessons, volunteers as an usher for The Cleveland Orchestra, is constantly on the lookout for great vegan restaurants, and loves seeing as many shows as possible that star her awesome students, who keep her young by informing her of the difference between PS3 and P90X.
