Homecoming week is in full swing at Firelands!
Homecoming is a time to celebrate the school you’re attending. And, after you’ve graduated, it’s a time to go back (or “come home”) to your town and the campus, see old friends, and reminisce about your school days. Did you know that our first Homecoming Queen, Mrs. Cheryl Knoble Schaffer was crowned in 1967!
October will see at least three class reunions! The class of 1965, 1970, and 1985 are all celebrating their time at Firelands this month. We welcome them all back to their alma mater.
2015 MFMB Alumni performance:
Were you a member of the Might Falcon Marching Band? We are planning the 2015 Mighty Falcon Alumni Band and we want you! This is your opportunity to pull out your instrument and play again. Our Alumni performance will be October 2nd with a rehearsal October 1st. For more information please contact Mr. Wiley at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can add you to our growing list of Alumni! You can register here to perform:https://sites.google.com/a/firelandsschools.org/mighty-falcon-marching-band/alumni-registration! We currently have 26 Alumni registered to perform from as far back at 1976!
FHS FOOTBALL ALUMNI:
Help us create a tunnel of support for the current FHS football team! You can preregister at email@example.com to have your information announced at the game. Or, if you prefer, meet us at the Spirit Rock at 6:45. The Alumni will make a tunnel for the team to enter through and then run out on the field with the team! Any past player that would like to send a message to the team is welcome! Messages can also be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. Come home, football players!
