It’s Maple Sugaring Time!

Many of our local farmers produce Maple Syrup right here in Lorain County. The Metroparks put on programs every year to show you how the sap is collected and cooked into syrup. Visit the Carlisle Visitor Center on March 14 & 15  to learn about the history and discover the sweet science of converting sap into syrup through a variety of hands on activities geared for all ages!
