All parents and students with interested in the Firelands High School’s College Credit Plus (CCP) program, in conjunction with Lorain County Community College (LCCC), are invited to a meeting to explain the new program. CCP, which was previously known as PSEO (Post-Secondary Enrollment Options), has been expanded to include students from grades 7-12.
The Firelands Administration & School Counseling office will be holding this informational meeting about the College Credit Plus Program on Thursday evening, February 26th, at 6:30 pm in the FHS Cafeteria. We are also excited to announce that, for the 2015-16 school year, Firelands High School will be offering more LCCC courses on the FHS campus. LCCC will also bring a representative to speak about the CCP application process, including requirements that are necessary to become eligible for the program. The Administration and School Counselors will also be present to answer any questions about the CCP program.
We are excited to be expanding our offerings with LCCC and again encourage you to attend this meeting if your student will be participating, or is interested in learning more about the CCP program, in conjunction with LCCC. We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday evening, February 26th.
