FHS Semester Exams FAQ’s

School is dismissed at the end of the last exam scheduled for each day. Students are then free to go, or for those who want to eat lunch and/or ride the bus home, they may go to the cafeteria until the busses come or their rides arrive. Students DO NOT have to stay for lunch, as the school day ends when the last exam of the day is finished. Students who are scheduled for a Study Hall or Lunch may come to school late or leave early as they will not have a scheduled exam during those periods. Students must bring the signed permission slip off the Semester Exam schedule to come late or leave early on the days where they have a lunch or exam scheduled for the first and/or last periods each day. Students who are not scheduled for a period due to PESO, JVS, Late Arrival, or Early Release do not need a permission slip, as they already have permission from both school and home to not be in school for those periods, due to JVS or LCCC courses, or due to Early Release. If you need to arrive late or leave early during semester exams, students must turn in permission slips by Friday, January 9th. Please see the  Falcon Flyer 1-5-15 for additional information.
