High School Football: Firelands at Columbia

COLUMBIA TWP. — Columbia wanted to do more than just win a game Friday night. The Raiders wanted to send a message to the rest of the Patriot Athletic Conference that they are still the team to beat in the Stripes Division.

They were successful on all counts.

The Raiders were led by the running of Cody Shields, who carried 12 times for 137 yards, and a stifling first-half defensive effort in a 33-14 win over previously undefeated Firelands in a PAC crossover game.
