Falcons flying high at 3-0

Firelands has found itself in a position that it has not been since 2011: 3-0 after Week 3.
“It feels great,” Firelands coach Mike Passerrello said. “It’s a place that we wanted to be. We wanted a change from last year.”
The Falcons’ third victory came against rival Vermilion, 34-3, on Sept. 12.
“It’s a momentum builder,” Passerrello said of the win. “The kids were pumped up against a rival team. We have a lot of experience coming back, and it’s showing.”
