Creative SAMS Art students (L-R) Nick Street, Jacob Campbell, Cora Born, Spencer Street, Sarah Drury, Ian Valerius, Olivia Peterson and Austin Linn (not pictured) had paintings, drawings, sculpture, ironwork and collage compositions on display in the Lorain County Elementary-Middle School Art Exhibit at Midway Mall. The annual art show is sponsored by the Educational Service Center of Lorain County and is a great opportunity for our community to enjoy the artwork of Lorain County students.

The 32nd Annual Lorain Elementary/Middle School ESC Art Exhibit was held May 5th through May 23rd, 2014 with 122 pieces of art displayed by 16 Lorain County schools. We have some very talented students in Lorain County! Congrats to all who entered this exhibit! SAMS student Spencer Street earned Best in Show #1 for his drawing entitled Farmhouse. Cora Born, also a SAMS student, earned Best in Show #2 for her painting entitled Nocturnal Hum.

The students have the opportunity to improve their skills working with Mrs. Tamara Chippi,  art teacher at SAMS.
