Columbus, OH – The Firelands FFA Chapter qualified in December for the state Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event by winning the district Parliamentary Procedure contest for the first time in chapter history. On December 21st the team competed at the state contest with the top two teams from each of the ten FFA districts in Ohio. The team won the semi-finals round moving on to state finals. In state finals, the team earned 5th place in the state and will be presented a top-five-in-state banner this spring. Team members are Emma Ranney-president, Christine Balint-vice president, Jessie Beran-secretary, Cole Jones-treasurer, Alison Butler-reporter, Katy Tuggle-sentinel, Emily Pohorence-student advisor, and Katie Fath-member. The team alternate is David Tipple. The Firelands FFA wishes to congratulate the team on their hard work and accomplishments.
