The FHS FFA Parliamentary Procedure Teams excels at contest

FFA-Label-smallCongratulations to the novice FFA parliamentary procedure team that qualified for and
competed at the district contest last night at Wynford High School. The team of freshmen
competed among the top 6 schools in our district. They earned third place and a gold rating.
They will be recognized with an award this spring. Team members were, President: Grace
Pohorence, Vice President: Sophia Pohorence, Secretary: Erica Benton, Treasurer: Andrew
Williams, Reporter: Elizabeth Lewis, Sentinel: Nathan Kovach, Student Advisor: Clayton Lucki,
and Member: Carol Lynn Stevens. Congratulations on all of your hard work!
The advanced FFA Parliamentary Procedure Team, for the first time since 1954, beat Hillsdale
High in direct competition! The advanced team won the district contest, earned gold, and
moves on to state for the third year in a row. The team is – President: Emma Ranney, Vice
President: Christine Balint, Secretary: Jessica Beran, Treasurer: Cole Jones, Reporter: Alison Butler, Sentinel: Katy Tuggle, student Advisor: Emily Pohorence, and Member: Katie Fath.
