The Firelands FFA Chapter and the Student Council are participating in a non-perishable food drive known as Harvest for America this Thanksgiving season. Harvest for America is sponsored by The National FFA Alumni Association and Carhartt. We will be collecting food items during first period, November 14 through the 21st. The food will help less fortunate families in and around our community. A donut party will be provided for the top three winning classes, so please participate! Also very important, if students want the food to count towards Student Council Tree Lighting Points you must put your grade somewhere on the food bag or box. A progress chart will be outside the Ag. room to track the 1st period class progress.
Food can be up to one year past the “best by” date.
We only give a 1/2 point for Ramen Noodles-No baby food -We welcome pet food if unopened
We welcome unopened hygiene products.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE MARK THE GRADE LEVEL ON THE DONATED BAG TO BE COUNTED TOWARD STUDENT COUNSEL TREE LIGHTING IN DECEMBER!!
