Today marks the first day of a new tradition at South Amherst Middle School! It’s called Tea Time With Sully and students and teachers are catching on fast! Ms. Sullivan, a recent addition to the SAMS guidance department, has created a new way to celebrate students’ successes by inviting nominated students to join her for tea and snacks one day per month. Staff members have been catching students doing great things in our school and they are being rewarded for such behaviors like reading for fun, preparing and cleaning up after the SAMS PTG Walk-A-Thon, and never giving up when attempting to learn a new standard during class time. This character education driven program helps to make a school a better place. Our students are the best!
